ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The conference "What we don't talk about when we talk about law" aims to highlight topics that have received little attention in German law so far. In the public and academic discourse, (re)productions of discrimination in and by law have received little attention. In light of this, the topics postcolonialism, racism and the borders of legal diversity will be the focus of this event.

The conference is intended to provide impetus for critical reflection on current German and international law and to contribute to a change of perspective in the legal sciences and in the application of law.
